My daughter wanted a golf party for her birthday. So I constructed a golf cake for a 7 year old girl, including painting the shirt on the golfer pink.
Didn't have enough time to let gumpaste hat dry, so had to prop it a little. Customer loved it anyway.

9 X 13 sheet cake frosted in buttercream. 8 Cup measuring cup covered in fondant to look like a football and jersey out of fondant/gumpaste mixture.
Big lady bug is a 2 layer 9" cake carved into ladybug shape, head is 1/2 of a ball pan turned on its side and then the bottom cut off so it will fit flat. I cut out part of the inside of the ball cake so it would fit up snuggly to the body. The baby lady bug is 1/2 of a ball pan. All is covered in fondant.
Made for a birthday party, the girl's favorite colors are red, black and white.
Made for my daughter's 6th birthday, which was celebrated on the night High School Musical 2 premiered. Popcorn is Marshmallow's with yellow tinted piping gel.
This was a last minute, middle of the night cake. Didn't get the cookies completely covered for the posts, but the birthday boy loved it. Table is a graham cracker covered with fondant. Posts are cereal straws covered in chocolate. Couldn't find licorice rope, so used red yarn instead, it actually holds its shape much better than licorice.

The glove is a 6" cake cut in the shape of a glove and covered in fondant.. I saved the top piece when I leveled the cake to use as fingers for the glove (saw a similar idea on CC).

My daughter wanted Disney Princess Doll cakes for her birthday. I used the mini doll picks I had in my cake decorating stuff and the mini doll pan by Wilton's to make the small cakes and Belle is the largest because she is "The Best"
Cakes are covered in buttercream and flowers are gumpaste. Wedding colors are pink and green.
This was for a set of twins turning three that were on a Lion kick inspired by Madagascar. The facial features are made of tootsie rolls and the party hat is a snowcone cup (I was out of ice cream cones).
