Fall/halloween Log
Hi...I was actually very happy with how my Halloween cake turned out! Sure I might change a few things if I did it again but I am happy with it!!! It is a pumpkin walnut cake roll with an orange/rum cream cheese filling. It is iced in pastry cream and airbrushed. The spider web was made by DH from sugar syrup. I made the mouse and leaves from gumpaste and fondant.

Wbh Spice Cake W/spicy Rum Merengue Icing
This is the Whimsical Bakehouse Spice Cake with cream cheese icing filling and a spicy rum merengue icing that uses Myers dark rum and spices. It was delicious. It is also my first attempt at the Upside Down Technique of icing. Merengue icings lend themselves exceptionally well to UDM. Zamode here on CC was a fab coach as well as Jeff's tutorials.

Ganache cakes. Guinness Stout with mocha cheesecake filling and yellow sour cream cake with chocolate raspberry mousse. Modeling chocolate and tootsie roll roses and leaves. For male neighbor's 75th birthday. I had trouble with the chocolate transfer sheets rippling but in all I am happy with the cake. This is the biggest cake I have made yet....
