All of the detail on the cake pops was made by either fondant or chocolate. the small cake in the center is done with fondant. the cake pops were sure time consuming but really fun!
I've seen lots of princess/doll cakes done with a doll pin but I really wanted to make this cake look like the girl it was made for so I made the body of the doll completely out of fondant with blonde, shoulder length hair and huge blue eyes and tiny heart shaped lips just like the little girl who was having a birthday.
