Castle
This is the first time I've ever done a castle cake, and it really was a trial by fire! The entire time I spent decorating it, I was battling a crippling toothache that brought me to my knees. I can't believe I finished it on time, plus I had to deliver it. The bottome tier was a vanilla cake and the middle and top tiers were chocolate cake filled with banana and strawberry filling. I made the towers with cupcakes and paper towel rolls, and the cakeboard was covered with fondant. Thanks for looking.

Dora Waterfall
I made this cake for my neighbor's daughter. It's the first time I ever made a tiered cake, and I had to decorate it with my 4, 2, and 1 year olds tugging at my arms, running all around me, hanging on my legs and pulling my pants down every ten seconds (hubby was working). Still, I was really happy with the end result! Thanks for looking!

My 4 year old son saw a version of this cake on cc and wanted it for his b-day party. He is obsessed with all things Spiderman. The head is a 10 thousand pound Cocoa Krispie treat, attached with skewers, dowels and an improvised neck support using the plastic ring from my daughter's bottle. It still sunk into the cake, but it held up and he loved it! (I fixed the front of the cake before I served it).

Sleepover
I made this for my niece's 10th birthday. It's a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting. It's the first time I ever made and used fondant. The dolls and accessories are from the zillions of Polly Pockets sets I have cluttering up my home. Thanks for looking. As with anything I do, it's always inspired by the very talented cc people!
