My first FBCT and my first CCC.
White cake with BC. The head is a muffin.
Buttercream with royal icing. This is my first cake ever and its for my son's 5th birthday.
MMF Santa built on top of a sandwich cookie. The MMF turned out to be too thick for my taste.
MMF on NFSC (on a stick). I cut these from a paper template I made. I'm not sure whose design this is, but I re-drew it and cut out all the pieces on paper, so I could trace them on to MMF.
All MMF on NFSC (on a stick).
Santa's face, beard and the brim of his hat are MMF.

I then created a rose which fades from a white center to light blue outer leaves. Pic 10
In the end, I cut out a leaf shapes across the color blend, increasing the size of leaf the darker the color got. Pic 9
Final result !! Pic 8
In this picture you can see that I cut the rectangle in half to focus on the area of color I was most interested in. Pic 7
If you notice, the nice rectangle I started with ended up to be a long thin rectangle. I dont know how to avoid that maybe starting purposefully with a rectangle that is placed up and down vs. sideways. Pic 6
Then roll the MMF a bit, towards the fold and away from the fold, not side-to-side. NOTE: The trick to the Skinner blend is to always fold the MMF in the same direction. Fold, roll, fold, roll, keep repeating until the colors have totally blended together. Pic 5
Fold the MMF square in half. Pic 4
Roll them out the same thickness, and cut out a triangle of each. Arrange the triangles into a square or rectangle. Pic 2
The Skinner Blend is a polymer clay technique of mixing 2 colors of clay in certain way to achieve one sheet of clay that gradually blends from one color to the other. This technique can also be used for MFF !!! Start with two colors of MMF. Pic 1
