This cake was for my wife's long time coming Bachelor's degree. Folder is MMF, the college seal is a royal icing transfer, lettering is food writers, hat is MMF coverd rice krispie treat with buttercream tassle, diploma is MMF, "Paper" on sides is buttercream. The top layer of fondant is held up with toothpicks stuck underneath. The cake was a huge hit at the graduation party.

My son wanted a bionicle cake, and went to a rock climbing wall for his party, so I combined themes. Shaped cake with buttercream and crushed chocolate wafer cookies. The flag says "Happy Birthday T.J." in bionicle letters.

My son and I made this for a Cub Scout cake auction that got snowed out, so it ended up as a Bday cake for my Bro-in-law. We made another one for the next auction, and he won "most unusual" category. The litter is vanilla wafer cream cookies crushed and tossed with food coloring. The cat is made from 2 - 8" round devil's food cakes, 1 cut in half and iced together for the body, the other shapes cut out for the head, tail, and feet. Tootsie rolls complete the effect.
