Couture Shoes
I made this cake in April for a Special on the PBS channel. They requested that I make something I'd never made before and I'd always wanted to make a shoe box cake! The shoe is gumpaste and it's actually a replica of one of my favorite pair of shoes. The box lid was made out of pastillage and the tissue out of fondant. Thanks for letting me share :)

Fall Cake
I made this cake with the fall Maple leaves a few weeks ago. It is one of many that I haven't had time to share with you guys. The bride came with a whole vase full of flowers that she wanted me to replicate and some of the flowers I had never heard of nor attempted to make before (wax plant and leucadendron) Anyway I tried my best and I think the flowers turned out ok. The Maple leaves were a pain to color. Thanks for letting me share.

Pearly Cake
This is one of 3 from last weekend. This is my new favorite. It was a lemon cake covered in white cho. fondant and filled with lemon curd and white cho. cream fillings. All the flowers are gum paste and it consists of callas, climbing bitter sweet, ferns and hypericum berries. The pearls are fondant and the cake also has a little calla lily brush embroidery pattern on the sides. Thanks for letting me share.

Off-Set Squares
When the bride I made this for sent me samples of her invitation to use as color swatches I wasn't so sure of how the cake would turn out. I was really shocked at how well the colors complimented each other. The cake is simple yet very striking my husband loved the colors. Thanks for looking
