This was made in the stand up train pan. However, I failed to use a dense enough cake and it didn't rise enough. So I cut the flat side down. Still cute and nobody knew it was supposed to stand up.
Pampered chef large measuring bowl & 9x13 (carved) pan used. Spikes are chocolate. Coconut beach. Chocolate covered nut rocks.
Hair is chocolate. Face colors are a little light in photos because they were made 2 days in advance. I am told BC icing darkened nicely.

This was my first attemp at a castle cake. I used Wilton's castle kit. All BC icing, which would have looked better if it wasn't 80 degrees in my house that day. the flowers and leaves didn't really pipe well (i can't imagine why!).
Stand up house pan for barn and mini wonder for haystacks. BC icing. Animals are royal icing. I think the animals flattened as they dried, but still looked ok, especially for my first time making anything from royal icing.
