Baby's First Outfit
A baby shower cake for a very stylin' and trendy Mom-to-be. The cake was marble with cookie dough filling and fondant accents. The converse were gumpaste from stellastarchild's template on cc and the Oshkosh bibs were hand painted in plaid. I put a lot of love into this cake as the mom is my cousin and friend and I can't wait to meet him!!!

Pink Butterfly
Loved pippilotta's cake from this site and based this cake off of her design. The mom specified that there be a lot of pink so I just had fun with it. The cake is iced in bc with the fondant flower cut by hand. The butterfly was an exciting find at Michaels in the floral department. They had them in several colors.

Thomas
Thomas and I did not get along! This was my first Thomas cake and probably my last. YOu cannot tell from this picture but the rear end of Thomas was sinking this morning. I had to cut the back section off, completed rip off the fondant , redecorate the back and then reassemble. I had a cake meltdown in my kitchen in front of my poor 2 year old daughter! Carved from an 11x15.

Sccoby Doo Birthday
For my nephew who specifically requested that only Sccoby, Shaggy and the Mystery Machine be on the cake...I love kids!!! He had the firetruck last year and was picky about that one to. The Mystery Machine is RKT covered is fondant. The cake is a citris WASC with strawberry creme filling, frosted in buttercream with fondant accents. Scooby and Shaggy are all fondant.

License Plate 16
A 16th birthday cake done for a big fan of "Dude, Where's My Car?". The blue is Wilton spray, fondant letters and plate cover, freehand writing using buttercream. It was abnormally hot that day...70 in November...the frosting "slid" a bit which was frustrating because it made the bottom line uneven and a bubble appear on the side. I fixed it best as I could.
