Sushi

Sushi roll for my sister's birthday. Bottom is wrapped in fondant that was then painted with food coloring. "Rice" is rice krispy treats mixed with powdered sugar.

The bottom half is cake, and the top half is cardboard (to make the roof). The dog is made out of rice krispy treats covered in fondant.

Made this for my sister's wedding. Chocolate square cakes with Sugar Shack buttercream. Used an impression mat for bottom tier and a stencil on top tier. It survived a 3 hour car ride, so I was happy with it.

Made sugar cookies for my husband's football players. Royal icing - some stencils and some free hand.

Kittens In Yarn Cake

Ball cake covered in BC and fondant. It took a long time to roll each individual yarn thread, but still fun. The kittens and dog are made to look like my sister's pets -- it was for her birthday.

Dora Birthday Cake For My Niece

I used the Barbie doll dress pan on top of a 10 inch round for the cake. Chocolate BC and also regular colored BC. The flowers were royal icing and the trees were pretzel rods and fruit roll-up held together by royal icing. I bought some chocolate covered nuts for the "rocks" and make the river out of hard candy. I had way too much fun making this cake.

Nephew's 12Th Birthday Cake

My first attempt at a whimsical cake. I was very happy (and surprised) that it made it through the 2 hour drive to the party. BC with fondant accents.
