Black, White, Teal And Red Wedding Cake
12", 9", and 6". Top and bottom cakes are white cake with raspberry cream cheese filling and covered in MMF. Middle layer was two foam dummies glued together and covered in choco-pan (ugh!) and decorated with MMF. Silk ribbon. The cake was finished off with flowers from the wedding florist.

Avatar: The Last Airbender
Made this cake for my son's 8th birthday. Cake covered in fondant and sponge painted with brown food coloring to give it dimension. Rocks are rice krispie treats sculpted and covered in fondant as well. Not many Avatar cakes out there so it was fun to use my imagination for this one.

Haunted House
Made this for a family who was celebrating 3 birthdays around this time (hence the names on the tombstones.) Choc. cake. Siding, door, shutters, walkway, ghosts and pumpkins are fondant. Windows, fence, bat, bat, spider, tombstones are royal. Roof is chocolate. BC grass. My first house. Really fun to make!

Optimus Prime Transformers Cake
This was done last minute for a friend's baby turning one. Not the amount of detail I'd like to put into a cake like this but a great amateur looking cake! Usually, I'm so concerned about making the scale just right and getting all the details right but I think I was just too tired last night to care.

Buzz Lightyear Rocket Ship.
This cake was for my 2 year old's birthday. He is obsessed with Buzz Lightyear so after having "caker's block" for quite sometime I finally decided to model a cake after his Buzz rocket ship/ spaceship toy. He just loved it ! I even shimmied a styrofoam wedge under the rocket so it would look like it's taking off. What a "blast!"

Yellow Green Wedding Cake.
6", 8", and 12" all white cake with strawberry filling, iced in vanilla BC. Decorated with silk ribbon and flowers. Bride contributed the topper. This cake was really fun to make (I personally love the colors!) but it was terrifying to deliver. I had to hold it on my lap for nearly 2 hrs of winding roads in WV! No disasters, though, thank goodness! The innkeeper at the B&B where the wedding was said it was the best wedding cake of the summer!

Small Wedding Cake W/ Blue Flowers.
Only my 2nd wedding cake. Got the order from a friend's co-worker. This was for a very small reception. 10" and 8" tiers. White cake with strawberry mousse filling and BC Dream frosting. Added a pinpoint of violet to icing to cancel out the yellow. A great tip! Topped with blue silk hydrangea flowers. First time using upside-down method and I love it! Will be using it on every BC cake for now on.

My 1St Wedding Cake!
This was fun and now I'm convinced that I want to do wedding cakes. Even though EVERYTHING went wrong this cake, I was able to pull it all together in the end and I'm happy with the result. My first time with a 3-tiered cake and note to self: NEVER use Pastry Pride on a wedding cake again! At one point, I had to scrape all the icing off and start over! I was almost in tears! 6",8" and 10" square on bottom. White chocolate cake w/ chocolate mousse filling.

Girly Arabian Castle
This is a b-day cake for my niece who was recently in a school performance of Aladdin so she wanted something with an Arabian theme. Instead of jewel tones I used green and purple tones to make it a little more girly. Everything was done in fondant which is still a fairly new medium for me. It's really fun to work with! White cake w/ strawberry jam filling, iced in BC, covered in fondant.

Utah Jazz Basketball Cake
This cake was made for a huge Utah Jazz fan who's also a big fan of chocolate. Chocolate cake with chocolate BC, cookies and cream filling and chocolate ganache drizzle. It's 10" square topped with an 8" round and a half sports ball pan. Decorations are laminated printouts. Thanks for looking!

Cars Cake
I made this cake for my son's 5th birthday. It was really fun! White choc. cakes with strawberry filling. They are a half sheet, 10 in square, and 8 in round carved to look like a desert mountainside and covered in crushed nilla wafers and graham crackers. The cactus and signs are made of royal icing and the signs are handpainted with food color. The rocks and road are fondant and the rock formations were rice krispie treats covered in fondant and sponge painted.

Princess Castle.
This cake is for my neighbor's daughter who's turning 3 today. This came together really a lot quicker than I thought it would. The cake is white with strawberry filling. Iced in BC and the turrets are rolled cardstock covered with fondant. Door is tootsie roll and flowers are royal. Cobblestone effect on castle is made with #12 tip, smooshed down after crusting. Really fun to make!

Pirate Birthday.
I drew inspiration from lots of cakes on here, so a big "Thank you!" to everyone. I prepared the board with royal icing to make the water and then sprayed it with aerosol cake color spray. Then I added the island, which is an 8 in round and a half ball carved out. It was iced in BC and covered in nilla wafer crumbs. The ship was carved out of a loaf pan and covered in fondant "wood". The treasure chest was made from a mini-loaf pan and covered in fondant. This one was really fun!

Princess Cake.
This cake is for my niece who turns 7 today. She is totally a girly-girl so I thought this cake would be just perfect! It's only my second full fondant cake so please forgive the imperfections. The crown is white chocolate and the cake was dusted with Wilton shimmer (doesn't show real well in the pic, though.) Fun to make! Thanks for looking!

Baby Einstein Caterpillar Sheet Cake
A family friend had seen a pic of the caterpillar that I made for my son's 1st birthday party a couple of months ago and wanted to know if I could recreate it on a half sheet cake (they were having at least 50 people.) So this is what I made. I was inspired by a pic a saw in a forum post on here. It's chocolate cake with cookies'n'cream filling and iced in Pastry Pride with BC decorations.

Happy Birthday To Me!
This is my first full fondant cake. And boy do I have some major learning to do! I made this for my own birthday. Just wanted to see how I'd do. I made some major mistakes and thank goodness pictures hide some of the flaws. That being said, it was really fun and I'm excited to use fondant more in the future. PS. This is also my first stacked cake. A lot of firsts today!
