Buttercream on buttercream stencil. Cap is a molded Rice Krispie treat bottom and a large rolled sugar cookie as the top, both covered in marshmallow fondant. This was fun to do!!
Tried to think Spring with a variety of flowers on these little treats.
Honey bees and skelp on a chocolate cake. The second "e" in "Bee" was the bee's idea as it is almost invisible! lol.
This was fun to make! Lots of color. Used nested cookie cutters to cut fondant shapes. Loop bow tops it off!
Heart and Star shaped Cookies on sticks are fun and a make a great centerpiece. Almond flavored royal icing thinned for glazing cookies in bursts of colors. Treat bags gathered and tied to the sticks fill in nicely.
This was fun to do! Hot Dog is made by cutting end off of a Fig Newton, the patty is a Junior Mint, and the bun on the hamburger is made with mini Nilla Wafers... on a red and white buttercream "tablecloth"

This cake was for my nephew's school band party. Instruments around the top tier, conductor on top, piano keys around bottom tier. Marshmallow fondant was a hit with the kids.
This was fun to do! Everything is edible except for the lollipop sticks. The hoop, backboard, sun, and writing are done in royal icing. The basketballs around the sides are candy coated oreos. The kids loved it!
Pansies were painted after they were dry with a very small brush.
I like the color on this cake - the photo isn't really true to color. Violets are deep purple, and the green is soft. Cornelli Lace adds dimension.

This is a large cake - two 12x18 cakes side-by-side. Calla Lilies and Pansies in the floral spray. Vanilla buttercream, yellow cake with strawberry filling. Yummm!
Refreshing lemon buttercream in swirls of sherbet colors topped with a faux cherry... yumm! Baked in silicone wrappers.
I experimented with adding more than two colored icings to the bag - I liked the results!
A twist on Cheesecake! With a mouse and his friends. A design on the "rind" drawn with edible marker. Cake was a Poke Cake: French Vanilla with Orange Jello poured in resulting in a Creamcicle taste. It was a big hit!

This cake was done using a pattern transfer. Redneck Biker Dude all the way! It was fun.
The new mother loves whipped cream icing - so, I came up with a design that uses color flow panels all around to make the cake look like a block. This is an 8 x 8 x 8 cake filled with combo of chocolate and strawberry, with an overall coating of whipped cream. Color flow panels then placed all around and on top.
I wanted to do a bow topped cake with a hint of fall colors. I marbelized the flowers.

Picture was taken just after pounding the center dowel through the cakes. This was fun to do, and it held very nicely! It took a lot of muscle to deconstruct it!
These Gerbera Daisies are made out of gumpaste, as are the ladybugs, inchworms, butterflies, dragonflies, and the bumblebee. The cupcakes were baked in wilton's silicone flower fun cups, and sit in a plastic cup inserted into the styrofoam.
I was asked to do a Turkey Cake, so with the help of the great info on this site, I did one! Complete with cake "stuffing", chocolate "gravy", and strawberry "cranberry sauce". It was a hit! Thanks!
This cake was done for a retirement combo moving away occasion. The smiles smilies around the sides were done in candy melts, along with the lettering.
