Another try at christmas ornaments.Not as perfect as I was hoping for, but certanily better then the first ones.Luster Dust this time did its magic.
I wanted to make something special for the local nursing home for the holidays.So this is what I came up with.Their logo and slogan with some cristmas colors.For some odd reson the word "THE" turned slightly different in color.Some constructive critisism would be welcomed.
I just got this crazy idea about trying to make the mold out of mmf instead of the chocolate.And still can't believe how easy it was.I can't wait to get my luster dust and try to decorate with it.
I had h.... of a time with this thing trying to get the color right, finally I had it enough and gave up.Next time I will try with the brown bc,maybe it turns out better.But hey I learned a lot on this site.Can't complain.
My son loves oreo cookies.So when he saw this cake I tought he was going to pass out.I think the cake was the highlight of his whole birthday.
I made this cake for our church,our church does the shoe box christmas presents for the children in the poor countries.And considering that at one time I was the recipient of the box like that ,it just felt so good to be able to do something like this.
