4-8"x5" Red Velvet cakes with cream cheese frosting. Cakes had to go on a four hour ride to wedding. Had a few problesm but turned out o.k. Cakes were displayed at wedding on square black pedestals at different heights.

Top and bottom tier chocolate wasc with better creme filling and fresh raspberries. Middle tier key lime with the same filling. Gumpaste roses and real babies breath.

Loved the colors the client asked for. I don't think I would have ever put them together. Mother Goose is from an old set of ornaments I bought years ago (department 56 I believe). Lemon wasc with crusting cream cheese frosting and cream cheese smbc. Fondant rolled roses with other dried fondant flowers. Lettering with funky tappits.
Surprise birthday cake for a women in her 50's. She has 3 cats and a dog she dearly loves. The pets name tags are on at the bottom. (I have to say sculpting figures or animals are not my favorite thing)!! WASC with raspberry filling and white chocolate smbc filling. Thanks for all the animal cakes for inspiration!!

Alwasys wanted to try making some mini cakes. Moist dark chocolate cake with chocolate moose and grand mariner mosse filling, covered in chocolate ganache and covered with light pink fondant. Handpainted with gold luster dust, crimped on top edge with my new crimpers and topped with dark brown fondant flower with gold center rose. Very time consuming but made a beautiful display. They were very much enjoyed! Thank you to, The Caketress, for her mini cake inspiration!!
Pumpkin chocolate chip cake with chocolate bc filling and crumb coat. Covered in chocolate ganache. Gumpaste teal flower and green leaves.
Had a request for a zebra cake with whipped cream topping chocolate moose filling. I have never done a cake with whipped cream topping and wasn't sure that I could attach the fondant zebra stripes. I dried the striped before applying because I was afraid that the color might run, thats why the stripes look stiff. I'm not sure they ever softened up but it looked o.k. Maybe next time I will try it without letting them harden.

I always wanted to make a cake to match this platter. I finally did it. I got the plate at a Disneyland shop a couple of years ago. I've always loved the color combination. Cake written on with edible marker. The polka dot plate underneath was a fun find at Michales awhile back. Wasn't sure what catagory so I put it in whimsical.
Disney theme wedding cake. All wasc with vanilla bc and smbc filling. Gumpaste banner with funky tappits. Rolled red roses with fondant. Bride provided the Disney topper.
This cake was covered with fondant then layered with 9 rows of ruffles on each tier. WASC with raspberry filling and lemon moose. Yellow gumpaste fantasy flowers made with graduated cookie cutters.

Three tiered wedding cake. Each tier 8" tall. Pink gumpaste magnolia's and green gumpaste leaves, real babies breath. Wasc cake w/raspberry filling in two tiers chocolate wasc with chocolate bc in middle tier. (I cut the supports to tall on the second and third tier and had to add the fondant ribbon in the space instead of on the cake). Sort of looked ok but I can't stop thinking of how I blew it. Scream!!

Cake I made for my 4 yr.old grandaughter. Found these fun ladybug candles in all sizes. Kind of glad I didn't have to make them out of fondant.
All bc with wasc and raspberry filling. The pillars were not supose to be seen. The florist totally misunderstood the flower arrangeing requested. Sorry picture is not totally straight. Turned out o.k.
Ice Cream Bar cake. Tried to copy Morrisaz2004's cake. Thanks Morrisa! Sorry my picture is blurry! Chocolate cake made in a 9x13" pan. Cut off edges to round them off. Frosted in green bc. Chocolate drip look is fondant. Ice cream stick is fondant with gumpaste. Sprinkles are hand picked real sprinkles to find the biggest ones.
