This is a cake I made on the spur for my kids birthday, trying some new tips and tehniques. There were also bugs on the sides, lady bugs and spiders
I made this cake with left over batter from the cupcakes and icing to have a small cake to celebrate her birthday with for just the immediate family. It worked out great. Instead of traditional wording we called this the G6 birthday. As in Gracie is 6 for a different twist.

My daughter LOVES the Skull adn Crossbone theme which seems ever so popular. Her favorite colors are Black Hot pink, Lime Green and white. THe stars and the bow on the head are Lime Green, unfortunatley My Good Camera died, Thank goodness for Camera phones or I could have lost the pic all together...Sorry for the bad quality!

Done with a 9x13 pan, made 3 layers, used two for the base of the lego adn used a 2 1/2 inch Biscuit cutter for the lego connectors on top! Also thought about useing Dingdongs. Just made it a chocolatelego, Nephew requested a Chocolate cake with chocolate and more chocolate!

EVERYTHING was strawberry, The cake mix, the frosting, the filling and the accents!
This is the first three dimesional cake I have ever made...although it wasn't as good as I would have liked, it wasn't too bad either! My Nephew's Name is Dominic, so I called this truck the Dominator! WE also printed off Pics of monster trucks for placemats, and laminated them so that my nephew could take them home and enjoy them. I didn't use a mold I actually used two loaf pans and carved it.
THis Bubble gum machine is an easy to personalize cake. You can choose Cost of gumballs by age of person, and I used the colors from the cake plates and streamers as my base colors.
