Only the front right square is actual cake. The rest is styro foam and fondant. I pieced the camo together. I liked the way it looked better than it all being flat! My friends dad made the deer stand (can't take credit for that!) This is my favorite cake so far.
I made this for a crawfish boil my friends had. I did not take into account the heat that day!! It did not turn out as good as I would have liked, but I'm still a newbie, so it's ok!! It's chocolate cake (3 or 4 8 inch rounds - I don't remember exactly) iced in buttercream. The "crawfish" are from a mini lobster mold. I used melted white chocolate. The corn was made from flavored tootsie rolls and the potatoes are fondant. Thanks everyone on CC that has made a crawfish cake. YOu all were my inspiration!
My best friend got married in Hawaii in February. We had a "reception" for them in Houston, so I made a replica of her wedding cake! It's white cake with rapsberry filling (thanks to a CC recipe!). all butter cream.
normally, I would have smoothed the icing, but I just loved the look of this one not smoothed. I guess it was because it was chocolate?! I don't know. It's a chocolate cake, filled with whipped frosting (a recipe from CC -thanks!) and iced with chocolate buttercream.

I made this cake for my sister's engagment party. He bought the ring at Tiffany, so I made a Tiffany box. I also made cupcakes and put big rings on them - just a child's party rings. They are iced with buttercream and I cheated and used a ribbon for the bow. I didn't have time to make one out of fondant.
I am still learning! This cake was ordered last minute. I really wanted a fondant bow, but I did not have time to make one, so it's just ribbon. It is a white cake with pink buttercream and white fondant pearls. She wanted it very girly, but for a 25 yr old.
I made these for a co-workers baby shower. Just a regular cupcake iced with buttercream. The foot is made out of fondant. I used a circle cookie cutter and shaped it into the foot myself.

This is my cake from the Royal Icing Cake Class. It's class 2. My mom and I took the classes together. Her cake is the smaller one in the back, that you only see part of.
