This cake design was based off of one I saw right here on Cake Central. The football was made out of rice Krispies so it would keep it's shape. I rolled it on the counter to smooth it out, then covered it with fondant. To get the texture on the football, I used an actual football and pressed it on the fondant.
My 3 year old requested Spiderman on his Valentine's Day Cake for Daycare...but settled on a frog :)
I did this one very plan so that the focus would be on the grapes.

This cake used the same shells as my previous one, only this time I used luster dust to color them and kept the cake white.
A little plain but this was my first attempt at a seashell wedding cake. Any suggestions to liven it up would be greatly appreciated!
This was for a Fair decorating contest and could only be a max of 10 inches tall.
