It is impossible to find Barbie Mermaid Tale party items so I just made the theme match. She is a mermaid underwater so the bottom layer represents that and the top layer represents her life on land as a surfer. Buttercream icing, chocolate fudge filling and fondant accents.

I made this cake for my daughter's 4th birthday. She was very happy with it! All buttercream with fondant accents. Each Princess had their own scene. It was really fun to make!
To me, simple is always better. Marbled chocolate and vanilla 9x13 sheet cake. I used Duff's new black fondant that Michael's sells and it actually tastes really good! These pictures were taken before I put the hot pink basic border on the bottom.
This was so fun to make! It was a 10 inch bottom and 7 inch top with buttercream and fondant accents. The smash cake was a 6 inch that matched the pink bottom tier.

I got the idea for this cake from cakesbyallison's bunnies and bows cake. Not only was her cake beautiful but she also gave me pointers which were very useful. Chocolate 10 in bottom layer (4 in deep) and white cheesecake 7 in top layer ( 4 in deep) covered in fondant. Bows, #1 and bunnies are 50/50 fondant/gum paste and buttercream border. I had trouble with the fondant cracking but it turned out great for my neice's first birthday party. Smash cake was a 6in to match the top layer but with bc.
This is an 8x3in white chocolate cake. I needed something quick and thankfully, this didn't take long at all! Used tip 21 for rosette border, fondant bow and peppermint chips on the top of the cake. It is simple but very pretty in person.
I made this for an Iron Bowl party. Grass is bc, football is chocolate fudge and fondant school logos.
This cake was for my Dad's birthday, who has a large farm. Used brown sugar and graham crackers for the dirt. Everything else is buttercream.
This idea was from the cake from Miller123. I used a 9x13 and the football cake pan. Iced with bc and fondant accents on the football. I had trouble with the yard lines not falling off but other than that, it turned out to be a hit.
My first attempt at using fondant. The Wilton Instructor deserves the credit for the bow...she helped with that!
Found very similar cake on cakecentral but I modified it. Used buttercream icing and candy pumpkins instead of icing. The tree and fence is dark chocolate fudge icing from the store and the ground is milk chocolate (with additions to make a better consistency).
