Square Wedding
This cake was very interesting. I made it exactly like the bride wanted, it wouldn't have been my choices but she was happy. 3 cakes are 8 in x 6 inches tall, and the chocolate one is 6 in x 6 inches tall. The other flavors were Carrot w/cream cheese, Red velvet w/cream cheese, and Yellow w/almond. The wedding was in an art studio, it was pretty neat and different

Chalkboard
This is a cake I made for my DD's last day of second grade. It was a lot of fun to do. I used 2 chocolate and 1 yellow 10 x 10 cakes stacked (They looked pretty neat when cut, almost like a oreo). In between each layer I used a teal frosting (which the kids loved! On each side of the cake was a chalk board that I wrote good bye messages. On the top I used a half ball and parts of the mini ball to make the paw print.

Lots Of Purple
This cake was a lot of fun to do! On the big cake, the 14 inch bottom and the 6 inch top were chocolate. The the middle started out as a 10 inch square yellow cake, but who knew a 10 inch square doesn't fit on a 14 inch round. So, I wacked off the corners and made them fit. The other cake was strawberry with cream cheese frosting.

Disco Ball
I need to give a BIG thanks to Doug, Tartacadabra, and mqguffey for all of their help on this cake this morning. I couldn't have done it with out you all!! The cake is marble with almond BC. The tiles were made from fondant. The Easy Marshmallow Fondant recipe. (LOVE it!!) They are painted with silver luster dust mixed with almond extract.

Many Firsts
This was my first time playing with fondant on wire, chocolate ganache, and making my own filling. What FUN!! The bottom cake was a yellow cake with a Bailey's Irish cream filling, chocolate BC and gancahe. The top cake was a yellow cake with a raspberry filling chocolate BC and ganache. The Happy Birthday in chocolate was pretty neat also. This was for my uncle and he was a pretty appreciative guinea pig.
