Whimsical Bakehouse
Red Velvet Cake w/whipped choc ganache, torted layers have light Choc Bettercream (yum!), iced in Whimsical Bakehouse Buttercream mixed with Buttercream Dream icing. (I did not really like the WBH icing by itself, tasted too plain.) Mixing in the BCdream gave the icing a wow factor. TFL!

Lambeth
Always wanted to try my hand at Lambeth. Loved it ever since I got Toba Garrett's book & even more so after PMs went back & forth w/ShirleyW right here on CC. She was so very encouraging. Had some extra time, decided to try it. This is film camera. Really, it turned out nicer. Digitals next time, baby, Digitals!!! TFL!

Crown
Octagon crown cake; scratch version of the WASC, vanilla BC, non-dairy filling. Crown dusted in pink shimmery luster dust. Made for my SIL with the understanding we all need to get in touch with our inner princess....altho, her 2 young boys woke her up with their crunching on the crown! (they loved the crown, made with RI). TFL!!

Over The Hill
12x18, 1/2 chocolate 1/2 white, torted & filled with fluffy vanilla cream on one side & hint of orange on another. Fun cake to make! Picture doesn't do the black justice. Used Americolor Black, WOW, was it REALLY black! Thank you TAT for letting me use your design!! (R.I.P. is a sugar tombstone says "Really Into Partying") Cake was a big hit.

Valentine Cookies
Double heart-shaped butter cookies, strawberry filling sandwiched in-between, sprinkled with powdered sugar, some were made with large heart-shaped sprinkles but unfortunately didn't make the photo! To get a more white color cookie, use only egg-whites in your dough. Wrap individual cookies cellophane and put a glittery heart sticker on wrapper for the final touch. Yummy, easy, colorful!!

Valentines, Heart, Red Velvet
Red Velvet 12-inch heart cake, torted layers, filled with pale pink non-dairy whipped topping, iced in Vanilla BC. Hearts on cake are candy melts, cut with cookie cutter. Served to senior adults mostly from the Southern states. ALL gave their southern stamp of approval on this RVC! (used the Sarahâs RVC recipe here on CC) (Photo was taken before I finished top of cake.)

Christmas Candy Cane Cake
8â round 4-layer torted WASC recipe (omitted Almond, hint of Mint), Whipped Cream with crushed candy cane sticks and hint of red-red Wilton color added for filling; smooth Vanilla BC; melted chocolate ganache drizzled around edges; crushed candy canes on top, with soft candy cane sticks around the sides. Platter has snowmen that appear as if holding up the cake to add a festive Holiday look. Made for my office staff meeting. Very colorful cake as the filling turned out pale pink, and since the staff meeting is all women, pink is appropriate!

Skateboarding
Tobaâs Dark Chocolate cake for skateboard, Vanilla & Sugershackâs buttercream frosting, rolled marbled vanilla BC for skateboard. Skateboard is carved 13x9 and one 10-in. Shoes carved Tobaâs Vanilla 13x9 cake, covered in chocolate rolled BC. Was going to tip one of the shoes on its side and sole would match the skateboard, but cake was bigger than designed and board not large enough! Paper covering board is skate paper. Little boy is 8 and he loved his cake, he just kept staring at it!! First time marbling rolled buttercream. Wouldnât recommend covering such a large cake again, but adore the taste of rolled BC over MMF!

Also for Deester & angegreene!)

Shoes (Sole)
Sole of pair of shoes. Trying to figure out how to keep it from flopping over. Lots of thanks to people here on CC for giving me tips! (edited to add: found out today that the bottom of a Van's shoe looks/has same texture as a Yoga mat. Will try using the Yoga mat for the design bottom next time! LOL)

Shoe
First attempt at Van's shoe. First attempt at ANY shoe! Carved a carrot cake, crumb coated in CC frosting, covered that in rolled MMF. Hardest part was the silly stripe on the side! Input plese, need help on making the 'back' of the shoe go up farther. (Thanks for the help from aligotmatt, katydidz, sweetresults!!)

Halloween Carnival Cake
Another cake donated to grade school for carnival cake-walk. 10 4layer torted, dk chocolate cake w/light cherry/chocolate filling; cherry/chocolate BC icing; Halloween toys were randomly placed on cake, some were held on with RI; dowels used to keep cake together since kids at the cake-walk are overly excited to win a big cake! First time I used Jell-O for the icingI read the tip somewhere here on CC. Great tip! Mixed about ¼ box cherry-flavored Jell-O into the icing and let it set to dissolved. Wow! The BC was delicious with the chocolate cake! One deco you see in the front, tried to make like his body was coming out of the cake, but in pix it just looks like I goofed on the icing. Little boy, around 4th grade won thiswas jumping up and down with it! (Good thing I used the dowels-LOL)

2Nd Pix Carnival Princess
Another cake donated to grade school for carnival cake-walk. 2nd pix of Carnival Princess; 4-layer torted heart shaped strawberry cake w/strwb non-dairy mousse filling, white vanilla BC. Sprinkled top of cake a bit with pink crystals. Crown, jewels were toys placed on top of cake. (Missing from photo are 3 white swans and hot-pink hot-wheels car that were on cake board held in place w/RI.) Little 5 yr/o girl won this. She was absolutely in awe! (This cake had me feeling like Martha Stewart, since Id used my coveted home-grown frozen strawberries for the mousse.)

3D Duck & Water
Donated to grade school for carnival cake-walk. Was a big hit! Duck is WASC, lemon BC; 10 round extra-rich orange pond w/vanilla light BC hint of orange filling, dark chocolate/orange BC for sides (dirt) & vanilla BC (pond). Crumb coated duck giving it more frosting taste when cut, since I forgot I was going to vertically cut/fill, but had it already assembled. Orange cake domed & I tried the flattening trick, it sunk just a bit too much & gave it just enough of a sitting-in-the-water perfect look! Shimmed one side & used med.-sized dowels to keep it sturdy since little kids at the carnival have a tendency to get overly excited when they win a cake! Cake board had geese pattern to match theme. (Using the WASC & Star Tip was perfect for this 3D duck & I liked it better than the other duck in my photos.)

Playdough Theme Cake
Extra-rich orange cake 6, 10 layers w/vanilla cream filling w/just a hint of orange, orange icing made with real orange-squeezed, orange syrup. Toys placed on cake were purchased. Toys on cake & the board were held on with RI. Cake made for grade school carnival cake-walk. Little girl won it. She was thrilled!
