I took the cotton out of the bow before I took it to the shower...I promise! The top icing was fixed and neatned up, I just never got an updated picture.
A friend and I did this cake together. Buttercream with fondant eggs and bunny.
Cream cheese icing, fondant animals and gumpaste name and "2".
This was for a friend of my cousin. He is an accounting major so she wanted to do him a calculator.
This was for two girls that were getting crowned in Missionettes at my sister's church. Cakes were BC, fondant pillow and royal icing crown.
I did this for my papa's b'day. I forgot the "t" in birthday. I swear I cut it our but somehow it didn't make it on the cake. I can spell...I promise. HA! But it made for a funny rendition of the singing of 'Happy Birthday". At least I made everyone laugh. HA!
There is a cake on here that I got inspiration from, but I can't find it right now. Buttercream with fondant accents.
I did this for my neice's b'day. I was afraid that there wouldn't be enough cake so the one in the back was just to serve as extra cake. She gave me a pic of a cake off CC that she wanted and I have no idea who made it, to give them credit for inspiration.
Cake is iced in buttercream, gumpaste bow and fondant footprints
These go with the pink polka dot cake.
There were 2 poodle candles to go on top of this cake which would have made it much cuter.
This was for my nephew's 1st b'day. The top was taken off to be his smash cake. Buttercream with fondant accents. The name was done in gumpaste.
Lots of inspiration from this site.
Just a sheet cake for an 80th birthday.
This was for a friend's 40th. The pills on the board say things like "incontinence", "gas", "brain farts", "hearing loss", "poor vision"
I did this for my hubby's 30th B'day. Seems more like a 5 yr old, I know. But he can't pass by a gumball machine without popping in a quarter, so it was fitting of him. Cake was 4- 8" rounds carved. Done in buttercream with fondant accents.
I did this for a Sweet Sixteenth birthday.
Thanks to psurrette for the inspiration.
Fondant flowers, everything else is buttercream.
I did this for my mema's birthday. I got the inspiration from BlakesCakes. I tried to put on own spin on it but didn't work out as well as in my head. The bottom is a dummy cake in MMF. The top 2 tiers are BC. Had fun and my mema loved it, that's all that counts.
This was for a friend's husband who is the music leader at our church. Each peron on the top of the cake was to represent a member of our praise team. My friend baked and iced the cake. I just did the accents.
I did these for a bridesmaids luncheon. They are MMF with buttercream roses. The ones that were for the bridesmaids had charms in them as the gift from the bride.
