My Son's Favorite Book 4Th Birthday Cake
My son's favorite book is Jeeva Kućica which is Croatian. Title translates to Hedgehog's Little House. On top is Je (Hedgehog) and on the side are the mushrooms and his log where he lives (not shown). I think it turned out really well especially since I was working with a noncrusting cream cheese frosting on a carrot cake - yummo!

50Th Anniversary Cake, Somewhat Mini 6", 4.5" And 3" Tiers
The end result turned out pretty good, but I had a pretty hard go of it, but for only my third time with fondant and first time fondant in tiers, I'm satisfied and it's JUST what she asked for so she should be happy too. sprayed with antique gold luster dust and decorated with Royal icing roses and gum paste leaves.

Purple Gorillas Rock!
I'm a mentor for a teenager and her favorite color is purple and her favorite animal is the gorilla. EVERYTHIGN is gorilla and purple including her email "handle". So, I made a gorilla (not purple) surrounded by a purple sphere and purple trim. Around the outside of the cake it does say, "Purple Gorillas Rock!" She loved it and it did turn out well - a FBCT.

Snow Globe Cake With Snowmen
My version of this cake. The middle cake got a little smooshed (and I did have it skewered and with a separator), but it turned out so cute! This no talent, was able to freehand that and I was pretty impressed with myself as I'm TERRIBLE... You should see my attempt at a simple figure! LOL

Lightening Mcqueen Cars Cake
This is my rendition of a cake I saved to my desktop, but I'm sorry, I don't remember whose cake I copied!! (or tried to do my best at copying! Hers is FAR better!) Anyway, first time painting on the frosting for the background and it came out pretty good. The family loved it!

Sweet 16 2 Tier Cake
This cake turned out HUGELY Tall - 8" base, 6" top. Customer wanted small polka dots and a bow. This was my first bow. I made one the night before and it was too skinny and thin, so I saw too much of the globby middle. this second one turned out much better. I'm quite happy with this cake.

Cheeseburger Cupcakes
These were such a hit at the Labor Day picnic. Just my luck I had in my freezer just enough green, yellow/orange, and red icing, so I didn't need to make any! These are so easy to make and so much fun. We especially liked them, because you can ice just around the edges of the "burger" so that you don't have frosting overload. I have NO idea whose idea this was, but it's great and I thank you. Also, I don't know who mentioned the muffin top pan, but I LOVE them and they work great for this with no waste.

Dalmatian Cake - European Style
European cakes are so different and not showy but so yummy. This is an almond pastry, then a custard filling, then a sponge layer and then a custard "icing" with sprinkled almonds. It's not an icing. It is truly just milk, egg yolks and 1 tbsp. of flour cooked until thick and then when it is cooled, you sort of ice the cake. Just showing for the "variety" not for the oos and ahs of the beautiful decoration because that's not what this cake is about.

Baby Naming Cake
The family plants a tree to celebrate the birth of each of their children. They chose a little Gem Magnolia this time. Except for my handwriting, as usual, it turned out really well. Used my cake projector for the first time. Gotta thank Tripletmom for the inspiration (close copy) and to Markbolin because I used their tree with my cake projector!
