Much Better!
I was so happy with how this turned out!! I took my time with it, worked on it over the course of 2 days (lol, and did a lot of praying!) and everything went just the way I wanted it. I didn't get it as smooth as I would have liked but overall, c'mon, it's buttercream! Only the tires are candy clay. Thank you to merissa for the inspiration and the help!

Speedy Stained Glass
This had to be the quickest I've ever had to make a cake, baked, cooled, frosted and decorated in 4 1/2 hours! Chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream, caramel sauce. Decoration is outlined with black choc bc and filled in with tinted caramel sauce. I think this is my favorite stained glass that I've done :) Here's a video showing how I do it:

The Cake That Almost Wasn't....
Poor little cake, I couldn't think of a design idea! I had made the Mahjong tiles (unfortunately the mold is backwards, don't know if anyone'll notice) but I didn't know how I was gonna decorate the rest! I went through 3 different books before I landed on what I thought I wanted. Oh, I also accidentally stabbed the cake twice while I was smoothing, just one of those days!! 2 layer orange spice cake, tiles are candy clay with buttercream written on them.

3Rd Time Does The Trick
This was for my 10 yr wedding anniversary, I didn't want to do the same cake we had at our wedding (*yawn* basketweave and flowers), I wanted to do something different. This is my all time favorite plate and I've already tried to match it twice, this time I finally got it! Top tier is coconut, bottom is strawberry, all bc.

Delicious Disaster
I thought I would try to make a chocolate/peanutbutter buttercream, thought it would taste wonderful with the caramel sauce. Well, it did taste wonderful, but well, I accidentally let my melted chocolate cool too long and it seized when it hit the buttercream! *grumble* Hence the dark chunks and pocky exterior.... Decorated with caramel sauce :)
