This was a groom's cake for a gentleman whose favorite beer is Newcastle. The ice is acrylic and the beers were real. I made holes in the cake using a drinking glass and then placed the beer in. The chocolate covered strawberries were the bride's idea.
I didn't care much for this one, but it's what the bride wanted...
Made this pirate cake for a little boy. The sails are bamboo shish-ka-bob sticks with paper, but the rest was edible.
This was for my mom and dad's 40th anniversary.
I made these three cakes for my niece's Hawaiian themed birthday party. I cut out the middle of the volcano and inserted a shot glass, then pieces of dry ice to simulate smoke, (unfortunately, can't see it in the picture, but it was big hit!)
Used Wilton cake mold. Pink dragees and glitter to decorate.
This cake was for a summer 80th birthday party and each tier was a different flavor, (orange, lemon, strawberry). I also used the Wilton stand with photos of the birthday gentleman throughout the years.
I made this cake for my twins' Halloween themed birthday party. I used the Wilton gingerbread haunted house kit.
