Football Players, Brownie Scout
No Fails w/Wilton Poured Cookie icing. Just playing around trying to get ideas for my nephew's team and my Brownie troop. (the Brownie kind of looks like a linebacker!)
Our library's summer reading program theme is medieval times. The crown (with frog) are Alice's icing. (for Frog Prince) The "read" cookies are supposed to be knights' sheilds. (?) All are Choc. chip cookie / dress and shield are w/ Toba's icing.
Wilton's rolled cookie recipe. Palm trees are royal icing, flip flops and beer mug are powdered candy fondant icing. Need work on the flip flops. :(
I did these for my preschooler's "water day" tomorrow. Wilton's rolled cookie recipe, royal icing. Probably the most fun cookies I have done. I like the goggles. lol
Under The Sea
Cake was for my daughter's 5th birthday party. Buttercream with royal icing decorations. The coral was inspired by tabs8774 design. Thanks!
Mermaid, Dolphin, Fish
No Fails with Wilton's Pour Cookie Icing. Couldn't figure out the mermaid cutter but in the end, I'm pretty happy with it. Thanks for looking.
For a baby shower for my preschooler's teacher. No Fail cookies with Toba Garrett's icing. First time with NO AIR BUBBLES! What a relief!!
No Fail Sugar cookies, Antonia's Royal Icing. I enjoyed making these. I had the cutter for over a year but couldn't figure out how to do the legs. I decided to finally play with it. I think I'm definitely hooked on cookies! I learn a little more with every batch. Thanks for looking!
Mardi Gras Mask
I was playing around with Toba's icing recipe after Mohara's post and her findings. Didn't have much luck with the sheen though. I used my metal butterfly cutter and squished it to form the mask and cut out the eye holes.
No Fail Sugar cookies, Toba Garrett's glace' icing to flood and Antonia's royal icing to decorate. I'm pleased with how they turned out, just wish I could cut myself loose and go crazy. I think I tend to decorate on the "safe" side.
Daisy Girl Scout Cookies
No Fail sugar cookies, Toba Garrett's glace' icing. Had a little problem with air bubbles in the icing. Another lesson learned.
It's starting to get a little easier doing cookies but I don't think I could ever do more than a few. :) I used the "no fail" cookie recipe and Toba Garrett's glace' icing. Thanks for looking.
School Bus Cookies
School Bus Driver Appreciation Day cookies for my daughter's driver. Decided to use heart-cutters and improvise. The sun is for the school, Spring Hill Suns. I used Antonia's icing recipe and enjoyed it, but it sure is a lot of work. Can't imagine doing 100s! whew!
Scooby And Shaggy
I should put this under the cake disasters forum. I ran out of the teal color frosting and had to make more (which of course didn't quite match) and then I had the dreaded little air-pockets in this batch of frosting. The Scooby and Shaggy image is a FBCT. The ring around the characters cracked. aye! Thank goodness it's for a bunch of Kindergartners!
My Little One's Puppy
I made this before my Wilton's I class. My 3 year old told me it was "Puppy's" birthday so I made this cake for him. The eyes and nose are melte chocolate poured on wax paper and frozen. A goofy cake but my daughter loved it.
