Cake for the Operations Group formal diner at Fort Irwin the Nation Training Center. The cake was 3 feet by 3 feet. I had to make it in 2 pieces to get it out of my front door and assemble it on site. the 19in coin in the center was made with the color flow technique. I'd never done that on that large of a scale before. It was made 6 days in advance and still wasn't totally dry and cracked when I went to put it on the cake. I did the best I could to hide the crack but my colors didn't quite match up.
