For a friend's husband's combination Father's Day and birthday. All cake covered in fondant and airbrushed.
This is a bridal shower cake for a friend's daughter. Her colors were pale green and pink. I did add additional orchids up to the buds but forgot to take photos.

Face is sculpted from 50/50 fondant and modelling chocolate. I started the face using a 4" Styrofoam egg. My first attempt.

This is my first attempt at a nascar cake. I did use a nascar cake pan. The icing is buttercream and the logos are made of royal icing. My hat is off to all of those who have made these cakes with buttercream because it's not easy to get the smooth consistency that you have done in your photos.

This cake actually looked better in person. Used a camera phone for the picture. Also my first paid order. Note to self, get stronger cake board.
