I made about a zillion of these for valentines day they are chocolate cake with strawberry filling and choc strawberries on top I wish I could remember who but a while back someone posted a reciepe for chocolate buttercreme with ganache and chocolate liquer well whoever that was thankyou thankyou this buttercreme is amazing even though it was the final straw in the life of my poor old mixer. :)
ok this is a cake I made with my 7 year old for a boy scout auction where there is like a max bid of 20 dollars the problem is I hate this cake I hate it it is probably the worst cake I have ever done and want more than anything to trash it and start over everything that could go wrong did.
This is my dd 3rd birthday cake and not at all what was planned my fbct failed miserably at the last minute so I had to use the materials I had on hand i.e the stars and hearts and flowers and come up with something else and this is what I came up with I like it enough my 3 year old certainly loved it the cake is white with strawberry filling the decorations are fondant and the icing is bc.
ok this is my 3rd attempt at a dora fbct and I think its the one going on the cake even if I have to force myslef to put it on there hey we are our own worst critics right.

my sons first birthday cake this was 7 years ago one of my very first cakes.
this is the jungle cake i made for my sons 7th birthday hes really into jungle animals everything is buttercreme for the most part the animals are toys its a simple cake but the kids really loved it.

so these are some basic cupcakes i made for my sons class for his birthday i took the idea from the wilton year book and i think they turned our ok although my favorites were the zebras not pictured here.
I made this for my sons 7th birthday i thought it turned out really well I intended to add a big tree made from rice krispie treats and while the tree turned out great i couldnt get it to stand up on the cake:( my husband and son made me put the tiger eating the zebra on there but i refused to add blood. the cake is choclate vanilla and red velet with pudding and creme cheese layers the cake is done all in butter cream except the fondant rocks.
so this is just a simple easter egg cake my mom got me started makeing them when i was like 10 there the very first cakes i ever did so its a tradition to keep it going my 6 year old helped me with this one.
this is the cinderella castle cake i made for my daughters second birthday it was the first time i had ever used the house pan i have gotten better with it now :)

This is the cake i made for my friends daughter lexie my beautiful palm trees crumbled:) so i very quickly replaced them with the fondant ones you see.
