40Th And 38Th Wedding Anniversary
I made this cake for my parents, aunt & uncle, to celebrate their wedding anniversary. White cake with fresh rasberry & rasberry filling. Covered with buttercream & fondant; roses on the cake are made with fondant; roses on the board are made with royal icing. Leaves are made with buttercream.

White Wedding
4 Tiers White Wedding with Cala & Roses. This entire cake is a chocolate bourbon; each layer with 3 rows of chocolate pastry cream filling. (I did the 'dummy' version of this cake a few months ago - this is the real one!). It is definately much easier to work with 'dummy' cakes versus the real thing.

Ivory Wedding
4 tiers Ivory wedding. The top 3 tiers are dummies, and the bottom tier is a classic white/strawberries, with 3 rows of strawberry creamy pastry filling. Bouquet is made out of single roses (large, medium & small), fillers and leaves, airbrushed & dusted with pearl dust. I used the Wilton imprint "Floral Fantasy" to add texture to 2 of the layers.

Tent Trailer Cake
This is a cake I made for my god daughter who loves camping. The tree troncs are made with cake and covered in fondant; tree leaves are buttercream (I went a little crazy on the leaves ... the kids will love it - not so much the parents!!). And the trailer is just a carved cake, covered in fondant.

Violin Cake
This is my first violin cake. I have worked with my real fiddle on the table and started by drawing freehand my template on paper. Then, I carved the violin out of a rectangular cake and used gum paste to do the chin rest, tailpiece, finger board, tuning pegs and scroll. The brigde is made out of fondant and I have used metallic thread for the strings. Many hours and late nights have gone into this; now I hope it will survive the 1 hour drive to a cottage for a birthday celebration!
