2-tiered butterfly cake for my 5yo and 2yo daughers' birthdays. BF's and flowers are fondant and decorated by hand. All edible except for antennae. Border is buttercream. Bottom cake is vanilla orange pound cake with orange marmalade filling, top layer is almond sponge cake with blueberry cream cheese filling (thanks cake central!). Thanks for viewing!

This was for my daughter's first birthday. It was my fifth cake ever to make and I got the idea from a variety of cakes (here-thank you!- and elsewhere). It was chocolate fudge cake with cherry filling covered in MMF with buttercream "grass" and flowers. The sheet cake had the filling in the middle and the ladybug body and head were made from Pyrex mixing bowls. Thanks for looking!
