I made these for a coworker to give his wife for Valentine's Day! They are a devil's food cake with Bavarian chocolate filling topped with chocolate BC and white chocolate shavings...
8" round marble cake with oreo cream filling, iced in vanilla BC. The inside of the cake itself looked very odd, but the taste was delicious! PS: The "D" in Lindsay is supposed to be backwards! (Inside joke!)
I donated some cupcakes for a United Way silent auction and this is how they turned out! ...Although... I am never going to attempt making white icing into black icing ever again if I can help it! The cupcakes ended up selling for $40!
This cake was made for my best friends son who just turned 1! He absolutely loves bathtime so I thought the Rubber Ducky theme was fitting! My apartment is constantly hot though so unfortunately the sides started to run slightly...
Ok, so this wasn't my VERY first time making a cupcake, but it was my first time decorating cupcakes with a swirl and my first time using my 1M tip. It is now my favorite tip to use! White cake with plain buttercream!
This cake didn't turn out how I wanted it to. When I went to use my green food coloring, I noticed that someone had opened it already (it was just bought an hour earlier) so I had to use my brown coloring. The cake is frosted in buttercream and is a black forest cake! Yum!
This was my first cake. The icing didn't turn out well, but I made a good attempt at it!
This was my first time working with fondant. Besides the few nail holes, I was quite happy with how this cake turned out!!
