University Of Tennessee
This is a 3-D cake of Smokey, the University of Tennessee mascot. He has a chew-toy of their rival school, University of Florida's mascot Albert the Alligator, in his mouth. The birthday boy received this cake for his 30th birthday, which is why the number 30 is on the top of the cake. This was my first big 3-D cake like this - and I had a lot of fun making it. Thanks for looking!

Golf Bag
I made this golf bag cake for my hubby's birthday. He graduated from Georgia Tech, so I went with that theme for the club covers and balls. The cake is covered in fondant, with fondant accents. I marbelized the green bag color to make the bag look a bit worn, much like my hubby's golf bag! :)

Cinderella
This is a 12" base cake with a barbie doll and wonder mold doll cake on top. Cinderella is draped/accented in mmf with RI flowers. The base cake is done in bc, with gumpaste #3 plaque. I added pearl luster dust to the string of pearls around her dress, which gave it a nice touch. This cake was for a little girl's princess birthday party where all the girls dressed as their favorite princess...it was a big hit!!

Darth Vader
My nephew's b-day is 2 days before Halloween, so I made Darth Vader in black/orange instead of traditional black/silver (it also gave the effect that the features were reflected off the flames & glowing...it was cool!) :). Carved 8" round cake stacked on 9x13 sheet cake. Used tip 96 for flames w/orange and yellow buttercream. Rest of cake is fondant. Thanks for looking!

Tennis
My first fondant cake...I had SO much fun making this! I carved the cake from two 8" round cakes. It is iced in bc, with fondant accents. The tennis ball is RK covered in fondant & I piped little tennis balls on the bottom trim of the cake using tip #12. The tennis player I made this for especially loved the unraveling grip tape on the handle. Thanks for looking! :)
