I originally made this cake (a play on my compny name) for auction for BBBS which went for $850. I'm so proud that it helped raise money for such a worthy organization. One of the patrons who didn't win the bidding then called me up and asked me to replicate it for her friends 50th birthday.

Copied an idea I saw here of making a snowglobe cake. It is a mini cake made from a jumbo cupcake. It was the centerpice for the cupcakes at a friends party and she wouldn't let me take the cake home. LOL

For my own birthday this year, I tried to make Cupcake Evny's Chefs hat and matching cupcakes.
Shopping bag, shoe box and clutch purse are all chocolate cake with chocolate filling. Thanks to Cupcake Envy and their tutorials for the clutch. I love making cakelettes they are so much fun.
A fellow CC member sent me an urgent email - she was getting married in Reno, NV in less than 3 weeks and her cake maker fell through. She was having a Super Mario Brothers theme and liked a whimiscal cake but had seen a white on white cake with large scale fish on the sides that she liked. Came up with the idea to make each tier a different shape to give her the whimsy and made the large character to go on the edges of the cake. She loved it and was close to tears when she saw it. I'm so glad that I answered her email and helped to make her day special. Congrats Dawn.

Okay so I tried to scuplt the sides of the cake to look more hourglass, didn't work out so well - need more practice. Shoes are chocolate fondant with tylose, pillow from the new pillow pan by Wilton.
Loved it when fooby did it so I had to try it myself when I got an order for someone who loved the piano. Fooby, thanks for a beautiful idea, I hope I did you justice.
Learning to make sugar flowers

Bride wanted the cake to shimmer with all different matalic colors. Blown sugar bubbles on top courtsey of Sugar Daisy Bakery. Cake was 3 tiers of Pistachio with Cherry filling and 2 tiers of Chocolate Stout with Hazlenut or Amaretto filling. Inspiration came from CC but I can't remember who's cake sorry decorator but thank you for the inspiration.
What a nightmare...had so much trouble trying to cover all of these cakes in fondant. I never want to do this again until I've had a lot more practice!
One gluten free cake and one gluten full cake. Lady bugs are made from Gluten Free Rice Chex cerel treats. It is the first time I've made a gardenia, I thought it would be bigger but I think they are really pretty.
Did my best to model the storm trooper - clones and ship are legos. Thanks to many cakes on CC that gave me the inspiration for this one.
