1/2 sheet two layer cake. BC w/ crushed graham crackers for the ball field diamond. The bases were cut out sugar sheet.
This is a 1/2 sheet cake with BC base frosting and borders. The daisies are Royal Icing. It was for a friends mom's 70th birthday, so I made 70 daisies to put on the cake.
This cake was done for a friend's son's 16th birthday. He likes electric guitars and his favorite color is green. This is what I came up with. She wanted two cakes, one chocolate with chocolate buttercream and one yellow cake with white buttercream. Look for the other one on CC. 1/4 sheet yellow cake w/buttercream frosting. White chocolate guitars with green chocolate swirls. The letters were done with green chocolate and green chocolate drizzle splashed on the borders.
This cake was done for a friends son who was turning 16. He likes electric guitars so this is what I came up with. Guitars are dark chocolate w/white chocolate swirls. Lettering is done in white chocolate and white chocolate drizzle splashed around borders.
This is a full sheet cake done for the local county youth librarian. She won the Youth Librarian State award. Marble cake, all buttercream frosting. Characters all done by hand in buttercream. The books were a FBCT. The kids loved it at the party they all threw for her.
All BC strawberry cake. Done for a friends daughter who loves Minnie Mouse. I tried to do a FBCT on just the outline of Minnie, but it didn't work very well, so I ended up having to free hand most of her. Didn't come out too bad though. She loved the cake, and that's what matters. Lots of fun to do.
Made this for a friends birthday. She loves purple. I'm not very good at roses, but I tried my best. She really loved it anyway. All BC.
A friend wanted a "present cake" for her sons first birthday. I never used fondant before, so I made the base frosting BC and made the bow and dots out of fondant. Not bad for my first time. I made her a small cake for her little guy to really dig into!
1/2 sheet w/butter cream. The characters were BCT's. This was a last minute cake for a friend... but it turned out to be one of my favorites. It was so fun and the birthday girl just loved it.
10" two layer carrot cake w/cream cheese frosting....All Cream cheese frosting was a special request from the ladies of our MOPS group. I've never done flowers with cream cheese because it's so soft and sticky, so I had to find a recipe for a stiffer frosting. It was still pretty soft. I did my best. Didn't turn out too bad

1/2 sheet cake done for a 5th birthday. This was fun. I liked using a lot of colors. BC base with FBCTransfer characters. The mushrooms were all BC as well. I decided to a grass border since the mushrooms seemed to fit well with that plus I think a lot of the video game boards are outside scenes.
2 layer white cake with strawberry filling. Buttercream frosting with BC transfer on the logo's.
1/2 sheet marble cake done for a four year old girls birthday. She loved dinosaurs and wanted a cake with a volcano on it. I've never done anything like this before but it came out pretty neat. I found realistic looking candy rocks that were like M&M's. The stream and lava were just tinted piping gel and the volcano was just made from the Wilton doll bottom mold pans. I hollowed out the middle to make it look more realisted and just rough iced it.
My son wanted the Mach 5 as his birthday cake and of course you couldn't find the pan so I used the Wilton Race Car pan and cut it to look like the Mach 5. Then just winged it from there. It turned out pretty neat and my son loved it, which is all that mattered.
I was asked to make the cake for our office party. I wanted to try to do something with pointsetta's since I never made them before. I wanted to keep it simple just in case they didn't come out too good. I'm happy with the way it turned out though. It's simple but looks pretty. I put cake sparkles on top of everything just to give it a little shimmer.
A gentleman I work ith wanted to be the first person to ask me to do a cake for him. I just started decorating and this was the first cake I did outside of class that I made some money one. It was fun, but I was so nervous since it was for someone other then family. I wasn't happy with my border. It wasn't straight. All in all though, I was happy with it and so were they. They may have all been too drunk to notice the border anyway!! LOL!!!
I just started decorating a couple of months ago. My friend decided to give me a call to see if I'd put something together for her daughters 6th birthday. It was a Halloween theme. I asked her daughter if she could have any kind of cake she wanted for her party, what would it be. She said it had to be chocolate and she wanted a pumpkin. So this is what I came up with. I added the Candies around the sides and was able to write a birthday greeting down each side of the cake board. I'm having a blast!!!
This was the final cake for the Wilton II course I took. I just started doing this in the beginning of September with Wilton I. I am amazed at how it came out! I just can't believe that I made everything for this cake! I had to put it on the site.....
