Firefighter Cake
This cake was done for a customer. It almost turned into a disaster cake when my FBCT wouldn't pull off the waxed paper right. Then, I dropped my turntable on it. It kinda "sliced" the side of the cake where the firefighter is and cut into his arm. I was so shocked, but thankfully, was able to fix it. I got the idea for the flames using a leaf tip from tjade8 's fire cake. Overall, I'm please with it and happy that it's finished! Critisism welcome.

Quickie Christmas Cake
I rushed doing this cake and aimed for something simple, yet elegant. I had already done a lot of baking, so I couldn't put much time or thought into it: it was a spur-of-the-moment decision to make it when I got a checker board cake pan set for Christmas and wanted to try it out. It is a 3-layer dark chocolate/french vanilla cake. Question: do you think it would've looked better if I decorated the angel or left it blank? Criticism welcome.

How Do You Feel Today?
Thank you cakegurl06 for the idea and for sending me the pic of the smiley faces! Mine isn't as good as hers, but I still love the idea. This was my first time working with fondant, I made MMF. It was too stiff, but when I microwaved it, it got sticky again. I also had problems with my icing bag tip (actually, I just used a parchment triange with no tip) so the faces and my writing is shaky. Kristian (age 16)

Scary Clown Cake
This is my clown cake for course I. My clowns didn't turn out not near how they were soposed to be because my icing was too soft. I was going to scoop them off, and cover it up with a lot of roses, but I didn't like how my roses was turning out either. And I still need to practice those shells!
