TN Vols Football
This is placed under 4th of July just b/c of the color scheme. It was actually for a celebration of Ronald Reagan's birthday. All buttercream, used laminated quote since it was a long quote.
I had to throw this together so it's not perfect by any means! Looked better until I moved it and caused cracks on the top. I can smooth those out though with a little patience(which i am running low on!). Did try a new recipe, Red Velvet and Cream Cheese icing, both recipes I found on here. Can wait to see how it turns out!

9x13in (half vanilla/milk chocolate) Made this for a neighbor's b-day -this pic is taken pre-candles. We later added "Happy Birthday" candles and beer can candles.
For my son's 4th birthday. My first 3D/character.
Two Tier, 6 and 10 inch rounds. Covered in MMF. MMF daisies, RI caterpillars(hard to see them). This was for my son's teacher who LOVES bugs(hence the caterpillars!) and the color green. Ribbon and pearls are not edible. I have a pink version of this cake in my photos. Thanks for looking!
3 tier, 12, 10, 8 inch rounds. Buttercream, RI drop fowers. Cake was both chocolate and white cakes, each with turtle filling(caramel/pecan). I posted picture without cake topper b/c I wasn't too fond of topper. It was provided for me at the reception site but I had size and other info I needed. Topper was stark white which made the cake look dingy I thought :(.
12" and 8" rounds. French Vanilla w/ buttercream filling. Covered in MMF, first time using MMF. Daisies are also MMF. Real ribbon and wired pearls. Silk roses.
Here is my version of the Speghetti cake that I made thanks to all the inspiration from everyone else who has made one! I loved making it and it was a HUGE hit! I made strawberry cake in a bundt pan and it fit nicely inside a large pasta dish I had on display. I did a crumb coat of BC and then piped the "noodles" on top. I used Ferrero Roche truffles for the meatballs -thanks to Darlene for that tip. I used strawberry topping, intended for icecream, for the spaghetti sause. HUGE HIT!
This was done in larger than normal petit fours, stacked up into a pyramid. The icing I chose was done in a layer of poured fondant and then a covering layer of ganache, made of just heavy cream and candy melts. Football and "T" are also cake covered the same way.
This is a 4-tier cake, covered in buttercream that was done in a textured look. The size is 12,10,8 and 6 inches.
