This was made for a neighbor, who is also a master gardener. 9" x 4" carved cake for the plant container, covered in fondant with fondant accents for the trim, crushed teddy grahams for the dirt and gumpaste leaves and flowers. The bird is faux.

I was given the invite which had an assortment of cartoon like cocktail glasses and told to duplicate them in a two tiered birthday cake and to use the colors of the blue and lime colored cocktail glass for the cake itself. White cake with buttercream icing. Cocktails are cut out of fondant then painted. I had a lot of fun doing this one as it isn't something I usually do.
