Lady from church had some of my first sold cake and called and ordered this cake for her daughters birthday, told me she wanted something simple and that she liked yellow roses. White cake (Snow on the Mountain) with my blended buttercream icing and BC roses.
This was my first cake order (Dec 06) . Cake is a 12x18 (full sheet) sour cream yellow with a blended buttercream, more butter than crisco. My friend surprised her mother with it after Wed nite church, I was pleased when several came and told me the next Sunday how good the cake was. Made me happy :)
Final Cake for Course 3 Dec 06, used holiday theme with RI poinsettes and holly leaves, started to add more holly leaves around edge and with the help of my instructor and classmate decided to keep it very simple and was glad I did. Our family enjoyed it for our Christmas Celebration Cake.
