This was made in a round glass pyrex bowl. I covered it in fondant and then poured jello over the top to give it the red streaks. The center is also jello with a drop of food coloring in the center.
This cake is a 15x22. It is for a Volunteer Appreciation and the theme was 100 ways to say Thank You.
This is two 12x18 cakes together. This was the most difficult cake I've ever made. It kept cracking so I had to make one of the cakes again. I couldn't get it level and the icing wouldn't smooth well. I was very glad to be done with this thing. At least it wasn't a paid order. It was for a work party.
These are made with the Wilton mini egg and bunny pans. They were for an Easter Egg hunt with the Girl Scouts.
This was done using the football pan and a one layer 6in. pan. Most of the decorations are done in fondant. This was for a Boy Scout Birthday Celebration.
This was for a local competition where we had 45 minutes to decorate a fondant covered cake. The hard part was doing it while lots of people walked around and watched. Including the judges. It was fun, though and I got 2nd place.
Whew! Sure am glad this is done. This was my first attempt at a castle cake and there were so many things I will do different next time. Such as not adding the turets(sp?) until after I arrive. They all starting toppling over in the car. But luckily I had brought extra icing with tips with me. Good thing is, my daughter loved it.

This was made using a round 9"pan and I cut the pin out of an 11x14 pan.
This is a 15x22 made using FBCT. This was my first attempt at FBCT and I think it was fun to do.
