Blocks And Teddy Bear

This is for my Great nephew to be, Connor's, baby shower. Since they know it's a boy, I decided to make the teddy bear blue and blocks in blue, green and yellow. It is a white vanilla cake frosted with buttercream. Connor's name is spelled on the blocks.

Rubber Duck Shower Cake

Iced in buttercream. Thought it would look cute floating in a baby bathtub. supported by cake posts with tissue paper for the water in the bathtub. The white around the bottom of the cake is to represent the 'bubbles' in the tub! Thought it turned out quite cute and just what I wanted for a 'duck' theme baby shower.

Polar Bear Christmas Cake

Two layer chocolate cake with two layer white under polar bear. Decorated with buttercream frosting. This is for a family Christmas party 12-22-07. I thought the polar bear with the santa hat was adorable and liked the way it turned out

Baby Bootie Cake

This is for a co-workers baby shower and since she is having a girl I made it in pink. it is a chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. The ribbon is fabric and added with a dot of frosting. It was my first 3-D cake and I think it turned out pretty good

Fall Wedding Cake

This was for my nephews wedding yesterday. It is 14, 12, 10, 8 and 5 inch layers. All white vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. Roses are done in Royal Icing in fall colors. The leaves are silk. It was a big hit with the bride.

My Wedding Cake

I'm new to this site and have enjoyed all the pictures! I made my own wedding cake (am I nuts?). The largest layer was chocolate with Chocolate ganache filling. The middle layer was lemon cake with lemon filling and the top was white with buttercream filling. All were done with basket weave sides and topped with mounds of white roses. I've been decorating cakes for about 25 years and knew I wanted to do my own cake.
