Graduation Congratulations
The bottom layer, the sand (brown sugar) and the boy building a sand castle represent the beginning of Joel's creating and thinking. Of course the next layer represents the beginning of his formal education. The symbols depicted with royal icing and placed on the cake after drying, on the chalkboard cake were Joel's interests and achievements thoughout the years. The top of the cake represents his graduation with honors from high school.

Ava's Pink Roses
Rolled fondant roses and diamond panels are used to create this cake which could be used for many occasions, this was a birthday cake. I would love to do the panels with melted hard candy to make it look like stained glass but don't know how to shape them, does anyone know how it might be done?

Fire Truck
This Fire Engine was made for a special "thank you" for the Unified Fire Autority in SLC. It's all edible. We discovered a better way of supporting the ladder, after the cake was delivered, as you can see the ladder looks pretty lazy. I wish that I had made the ladder from gum paste or something like that

Father's Day And Birthday Celebration
I saw the cutest idea on the internet, but don't remember the creator, it was a round white cake with wide rolled fondant candles decorated like ties, with a flame also made with rolled fondant. I used this idea for my Husband's special day with his favorite kind of cake - Chocolate fudge and Ganache frosting.

Father's Day Cake For A Special Grandfather
First time I have ever tried using Marzipan. I found it quite challenging, I must not have done it right. I had to have my husband knead it for some time and added quite a bit of corn surup, finally ended up adding some rolled fondant to it, before I could get it soft enought to roll out, any suggestions?
