Simple Snowman
Customer needed cake for piano recital, but due to icy weather, recital was cancelled. Luckily her other daughter had a school play a couple days later so she treated them to a holiday cake instead =) ... I originally hoped to add a hat, etc, to the cake but she didn't need an extra 10 servings so she said to leave it as is. I think he was too simple but I still loved him none-the-less =) TFL!

Spongebob Squarepants - Under The Sea
Customer wanted me to replicate a photo she had but I told her I thought it would be fun to try to make coral out of sugar instead of fondant & she was fine with this idea. It was my first time to play with sugar so it was a learning experience but in the end I liked how it turned out. Pineapple on top was made of RKT & covered in fondant. Sand was crushed graham crackers. TFL =)

Sock Monkey Shower
Cake was made to replicate details off baby shower invitation. Cake iced in BC w/fondant diamonds & band on top tier. Monkey was CT. Lettering up top was baby's name done in fondant. Not too happy with this cake because tiers were 8 & 10" squares which I felt were just to big for such a simple design, but the mother-to-be liked it, so made me feel ok about it in the end. TFL =)

Hello Kitty Tiers
Customer asked me to replicate pattern off partyware that included these color stripes and then the dots/flowers as well. Made the Hello Kitty topper out of fondant in puzzle pieces to match kitty on partyware as well. Added white luster dust to make her sparkle =) ... Customer & little girl loved it! TFL =)

Huge Reese's Pkg
This cake was over 3 ft long & the cake board was over 4 ft!!! It was a groom's cake that served 224 people for a groom who just loved Reese's! Chocolate cake, PB Buttercream filling, Chocolate BC iced and then covered in fondant. 96 Reese's cups lined the cake too =) I was luck the one huge piece of fondant covering the whole cake had not one tear so I was literally jumping for joy!!! LOL. Airbrushed the whole thing & even did the swirly background the real pkg had on it. The bride was there when I dropped it off & absolutely LOVED it!!! TFL =)

Baby Kicks
Yet another belly cake (other than the corsette, my most popular cake!) but this time the customer wanted the foot poppin out from under the dress on the belly like she'd seen in other photos online. It was a bit more complicated than I thought it'd be to just add that little detail, but it turned out ok. Dress was made to replicate one of her own in her 8th month pregnancy photos. Just added the lil yellow flowers because her shower colors were yellow/blue. Little boy's face is supposed to be her 4 year old son's saying his brother is on his way =) TFL!

Kung Fu Panda - Oriental House
Customer is a single dad who let me do whatever I wanted so I decided to change things up and go with more of an oriental theme. Made from 6 & 8" square cakes & fondant/dragee details. Customer loved it & so did his son, as well as their family!! I wish I could've added a little more detail to it, but overall I like it too =) TFL!!

Another, Yet Different Jungle Animals
Customer brought me a picture of a cake she wanted & asked me to replicate it. I found the animals online to get a better view of & made them out of fondant. Buttercream iced cake w/fondant accents (6 & 8" rounds). Made smash cake to resemble another animal that was in theme. She loved it =) TFL!

Polka Dots & Feathers
Back when I had my own quince (12 years ago - yikes!), the cakes were over the top and full of glam. Now they are still fun but just not as traditional as before. Regardless, I was still excited to do this cake since it was my first quince cake for a customer who wanted this exact design. Blue top & bottom square tiers; white middle tier; black polka dots & black feathers popping out the top! The 'damas' dresses were blue w/black dots & the feathers were the theme of the party. It was a beautiful set-up!! She ended up loving the cake & so did the rest of her family & friends! TFL =)

Never Showed Up For It!
The customer who ordered this cake was the 1st in the couple years I've done cakes that stood me up! What angered me most is that I was up working on this all night instead of being with my sick 2 year old (my husband played mommy that night). I later found out she ordered this with the intention of standing me up for whatever reason, so all I can do is hope karma plays its part. Oh well. Cake was originally made to look similar to a cake I'd done for a bridal shower but with shades of blue instead. All for her 5th anniversary. Ended up donating it in the long run & just hope it brings back some business in the end. TFL

The Original 90210 On Tv
Looked way better in person but photos don't do justice =( ... made to look like old school television (woodgrain). Had edible image of 90210 crew with message to birthday girl. Painted "CH 30" to refer channel with birthday girl's age & had silver antenna up top. She loved it as she is still a huge 90210 fan & the cake was a total surprize from a friend! She couldn't thank me enough!!! TFL =)

Lego Star Wars
Simple cupcake & 6" round set for a little boy who loves Lego Star Wars. I know absolutely nothing about star wars or lego star wars for that matter so this was tough, but the mom said it could be something super simple, so I used the toys she provided & this is what I came up with thanks to finding a few ideas on google! The kid and his pals loved it in the end =) TFL!

Floral #2
My friend called and asked for a tiny cake for her niece's 2nd birthday on a Monday night for Tuesday! The party was going to be Saturday where there would be a large cake but she wanted to make her actual birthday special too. I came up w/this design because I'm not into "plain" cakes & they absolutely loved it!!! TFL =)

Princess Tiers
Pretty big cake for a 3rd birthday, but I've had to do even bigger, lol! Buttercream iced cake, w/fondant striped tier, random #3 tier w/mini stars tier & quilted tier w/dragees. Wand was made of fondant star & real ribbon bow. Tiara was plastic. Pop-out stars fondant. Customer & all the friends & family loved it! TFL =)

Backyardigans Tiered
Customer originally wanted edible image plaques but since the cake was travelling about 2 hours (they were picking up) I wasn't sure I wanted to give them something that could break & I wouldn't be able to repair on site. So I recommended using these little cut-outs that were from a party centerpiece and she loved it. Created a couple of the houses out of fondant including a sandbox with "sand" (crushed graham crackers) on 1 tier, child's name to resemble show's logo on the other tier & just wording on top tier. The backs of the tiers had stars like the character's bases did. They all loved it! TFL =)

Sonic The Hedgehog!
I hadn't seen anything having to do with Sonic since I was a kid playing it on SEGA but a friend's little boy wanted it for his birthday because supposively there are still games with SONIC on them!! I was so excited to try this out but realized Sonic's eyes are now green on the games so I incorporated those on there too. Carved down from 2 - 8" rounds & spikes are cut from 2 - 10" squares. All covered in fondant. He loved it & so did everyone else! TFL =)
