3D Optimus Prime for my son's 4th birthday. Built like a wedding cake on a wooden leg support system. Cakes are iced in buttercream, could have been more professional if I used fondant. Fondant accents. Over 2 feet tall. You can see some imperfections, but this was the trial run to see if the cake could stand. I added some fondant tire s next to the legs to hid the dowels at the party. Inspiration came from a cake I found online.

I made all flowers from gumpaste or fondant in North Carolina. Then I transported the cake layers separately and the made flowers in boxes to Pennsylvania. The most difficult flower was the cattleya orchids. They were so fragile. but were used in my parents wedding so I wanted to use them.
Two helmets made as groom cakes to show the teams both the wife and husband support. Sheet cakes were cut to form a helmet shape.
