I've been working on displays for my three cake shows and my cake room, I have 9 done. All are iced in buttercream, with a mold inhibitor in the icing. Preserve It from Global Sugar Arts. My displays last almost a year. Fondant does fade and the icing after a long while does discolor a bit.

My work this week proably reflects that Iam finishing my last cake orders for the year, and Iam pooped!!!!! We got home tuesday from my christmas in Virginia with my daughter and her family and I had to go right into cakes. Sadly not a good reflection of my work. Buttercream, fondant bows.
