Front view of train. I used mini loaf pans and for the engine I used oreo cookies on top of the cake to make the circular front part. Marshmallow for the smoke stack. All was covered in white fondant and airbrushed. Lots of fun for my sons 3rd birthday!!
This is my first FBCT. Much easier then I thought, however next time, I will try to be better with the outline and a bit thinner! I loved it and it opens up a whole new world of decorating cakes for me.
This is for my son's first birthday...first time using fondant, and I love it. I used MM Fondant since the other tasted horrible!
Got the idea from the Wilton Spider, but decided to tweak it a bit. I used half of the 3-d ball pan for the body and a large cupcake for the head. Instead of using pull out stars, I used the grass/hair tip to make the spider appear harry. It's for halloween, therefore I used orange (BC) and black (Chocolate BC) frosting and a red velvet cake to make the inside red.
3/D winnie the pooh on top of two tiers. Pumpkin patch around pooh. For a 1 year birthday. This was one of my first cakes, but I had a blast!
