Celebrate!
I was asked to make a cake to celebrate the 25th anniversary gala event of a chamber music society. Their invitations had fireworks on them so I created the 'firework' spray out of crystals and beads in order to compliment, not overpower the rosettes. Bottom tier (10") is chocolate with raspberry ganache, top two tiers (8" & 4") are tuxedo cake with chocolate ganache. I am always grateful to i am baker for the wonderful technique of the rosette cake. It's such a simple design but so beautiful! TFL!

This is a mini wedding cake (9", 6" 4") with royal icing stencilling. It was the first time that I have stencilled and so I definitely learned a few things, including the fact that small tiers are much harder to do! The bride is Japanese so we incorporated the symbol for love on the plaque which was done free hand. The roses were made of gumpaste. Thank you to CC member Cambo for the inspiration!

25Th Anniversary
I was asked to make a cake to celebrate a 25th Anniversary incorporating their original topper. This is what I came up with! All fondant with modeling chocolate bow and roses dusted with luster dust. The cake (10" & 6") is white chocolate WASC with raspberry buttercream filling. TFL!

Easter Lilies
I made this cake for a dessert auction fundraiser for our church youth group in support of their upcoming missions trip - the cake went for $240! Special thanks to CC member mathajo1 for the design inspiration. 6" and 9" cake with buttercream and royal icing lilies. The stamens were made from royal icing and hand painted. TFL!

Orff Instruments
I made this cake to celebrate 35 years of Orff (Music education for early years) in our province. The drum is a 10" double barrel cake (7" high) tuxedo cake with chocolate ganache, the xylophone is lemon poppyseed with caramel filling. The recorder was made with rice krispies and modeling chocolate. The kabassa has over 600 silver dragees on it! All other accents are gumpaste. TFL!

Cinderella
I made this for my daughter's second princess party! Special thanks to CC member HollyPJ for the idea of the stairs! Square cake is 11" and chocolate WASC with Rolo filling. Cinderella was made from a Wondermold and a 9". Flower urns are made from rice krispie treats covered with modeling chocolate. TFL!
