I made this cake for a get-together for a school group project a couple of days before halloween. We always have dinner and dessert when working on our nursing projects - it makes the work a lot more bearable!!! This cake is iced with buttercream icing, colored black, and the pumpkins are orange colored fondant. The top of the cake is covered with black edible sparkles/confetti!!! I'm really happy how it turned out for just being my 2nd cake!
This is my first ever attempt working with fondant! The cake is vanilla, colored red, covered with buttercream frosting, black fondant and a red bow to top it all off!! It's not perfect, but it was so much fun to do!!
