Gram And Gramps Celebrating 60 Years Together
This is a french vanilla doctored cake mix with Wilton Class Buttercream icinf and royal icing flowers. Wilton Buttercream is not my first choice, but it was a humid, rainy day so I wanted something I new would be pretty stable. This was a cake just for the ceremonial cut, as there were 80 people at the dinner and there was no way I could bake enough cake and get it there. I was worried it was too informal, but it suited the celebration to a 't'. My grandparents loved it and that's what matter most.

Follow That Bird
This is my first trying Hershey chocolate cake and Indydebi's icing. The pan was collecting dust in my Mom's basement and I was feeling nostalgic for Sesame Street. Thanks to gourmetcakes for sending me the pan instructions. This was a 'just for fun cake' and DH and I will probably have it for dessert tonight.

Grammie's Garden Bouquet
This is a cake I made for my Grandmother's 80th Birthday Party. It is a 1/2 sheet cake, iced in buttercream with royal icing flowers. It gave me a lot of trouble and the icing cracked a bit in the 2 hour car drive. My grandmother loved the flowers and wouldn't let anyone cut that part of the cake.
