I did this cake for my grandaughters 1st birthday. She really loves Dora. I used the Dora pan by Wilton. My first Character Pan. Once you got the icings made it was pretty simple. I am happy with the way it came out and she love it!
This was my first real paid cake. I took the design from the Wilton Course 2(I believe), instruction book. The cake is 12" round 1 layer white cake. The icing is buttercream with Royal Icing dasies. Thanks for looking.
This is my first time doing a 3 D cake. It was done with the mini bear pan. This is also the first picture I have ever posted. I am really please with the way it came out. This cake stands about 5 " tall and is done with chocolate almond buttercream. And vanilla almond buttercream for the light brown, and yellow. Thank you to entertayneme for her help and inspiration!
