The snake and mound are cake. the whole thing is covered in fondant and hand painted. The snake's head is fondant and gumpaste. I had trouble keeping the mouth up but the customer understood. I hand painted the entire cake including the head. I've been working on my fondant skills so I'm pretty excited about how it turned out.
